AXIGEN, the professional messaging solutions vendor, is celebrating one year since its official launch on the local and international market. In the twelve months that have passed since, companies on 6 continents begun using AXIGEN Mail Server, and more than 30 partners are currently distributing the product worldwide.
At the same time, the AXIGEN team doubled during this first year of activity, reaching a number of some 60 messaging specialists.
“During this period we have invested a lot in technical development and in increasing our geographical coverage. Thus, if in 2005 AXIGEN was a technology compatible only with Linux operating systems, now it can be used by companies who choose alternative platforms, such as BSD or Solaris,” said Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.
As a result of its strategy to increase geographical coverage, AXIGEN is nowadays distributed by over 30 partners worldwide, which means that the number of partners has increased 10 times as compared to the time when the product was launched.
Investments in the promotion of AXIGEN Mail Server were equally significant. During its first year on the market, AXIGEN invested over 1.5 million Euros in technical development, expansion of sales channels, international market promotion and tech support development.
Currently, AXIGEN Mail Server manages the email traffic of some 400,000 mailboxes around the world. Also, FIRsT Support was recently launched, a service which allows any registered AXIGEN user to receive round the clock, free technical support, regardless of whether he is using a trial version or a commercial one.
“We are planning to launch in the near future a beta testing campaign for the upcoming AXIGEN version 2.0. This version brings a lot of exciting new features, which are extremely important when working in companies that have more complex messaging needs. Additionally, our team continues to concentrate on porting the AXIGEN solution on the Windows platform,” added Oana Bornaz.
The outstanding qualities of this product were highlighted a month ago by ServerWatch (www.serverwatch.com), one of the most prestigious online publications focusing on mail server evaluation and comparative analysis. The publication carried a highly praising review, calling AXIGEN Mail Server “a breath of fresh air.” |
