AXIGEN (
http://www.axigen.com), the professional mail server vendor, announced today its expansion on the US market through the conclusion of a new business partnership with the Technology Now company (
http://www.technologynow.com).
Based in Ohio, Technology Now is AXIGEN’s 7th partner in the United States. Provider of consulting services and solutions since 1998, Technology Now has specialized in offering high class hardware and software solutions for corporate customers.
"We decided to become an AXIGEN partner because we were looking for an email system to install for clients that were not a good fit for Microsoft Exchange. We found AXIGEN to be a quality product, at an excellent price, with a good support channel," said David Miller, Vice President of Technology Now.
"We are really pleased to have acquired a new valuable partner in the US. Technology Now gives us the opportunity to consolidate our presence on such an important market. This partnership will help increase the product awareness on the North American continent and thus, local organizations will have better access to a state-of-the-art range of technologies developed within the AXIGEN Mail Server", concluded Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.
AXIGEN aims to continue its expansion of its distribution network on the North American continent, and bring it to the same level as the already strong European presence. The first AXIGEN product was launched at LinuxWorld Expo, London, at the end of 2005. Currently, AXIGEN products are distributed by a network of 75 partners worldwide.
Based on a multiplatform architecture, AXIGEN runs on several Linux and BSD distributions, on Solaris and PowerPC and signed technology partnerships with Sun Microsystems, RedHat, IBM and Avira.
