AXIGEN (www.axigen.com), the professional mail server vendor, announced today its first partnership agreement in Brazil with the LNX-IT company (www.lnx-it.inf.br).
The Brazil based company LNX-IT offers its customers high-end messaging and IT security products and solutions. The company aims at supporting companies of all sizes in their endeavor to maximize their integrity and efficiency by providing them with reliable software and services.
“As we are always looking for innovative solutions for our customers, we closed this partnership with AXIGEN to offer excellence in mail servers to the Brazilian market. AXIGEN is a brilliant product and its simplicity is backed by its powerful technology. Therefore we aim at offering this solution to companies spread throughout the country, as it really makes life simple for system administrators when handling the email communication,” said Ricardo Rothfeld, IT Director at LNX-IT.

Now at version 5.0, the AXIGEN Mail Server runs on several Linux and BSD distributions, on Solaris, on PowerPC and on SPARC architectures, while its WebMail Interface is available in 20 languages, including Portuguese.
AXIGEN signed technology partnerships with Sun Microsystems, RedHat, IBM and Avira and has recently won the ServerWatch 2007 Product Excellence Award for the Communications Server category, after having competed with four other messaging solutions – Zimbra, CommuniGate, Merak and Lotus.
