Radu Georgescu is one of the most prominent and successful technology entrepreneurs in Eastern Europe. He founded his first company in 1992 and then went on to lead the creation of RAV Antivirus, a security technology that was acquired by Microsoft in 2003 and today forms the backbone of the company's internet security systems.
More recently, Radu successfully exited from his second business, GECAD ePayment, Romania's leading ecommerce service provider.
Radu Georgescu also plays an active role in promoting technology ventures in his home country, Romania and was the President of the Romanian Software Association. He was also decorated with the "Star of Romania", the country's highest civilian honor for his role in promoting information technology in the country. In addition to playing a hands-on role in the development of Avangate, Radu is also the Chairman of Axigen and GECAD Net, as well as Director of ePayment and ROL.ro.
Diwaker Singh

Diwaker Singh has over 35 years of international management experience, the last 25 of which have been as a Chairman/CEO of large multinational companies.
Singh’s business experience spans across business sectors which include telecommunication, aviation, logistics, tourism, investment banking and real estate. His career highlights include the establishment of the first private cargo airline in India, the first mobile network in India and the first 3G Mobile telephony network in Europe.
Singh has lived and worked in Europe for the last 12 years. Singh was awarded a Knighthood by the President of Romania in 2004 for his contribution in improving the investment climate of the country. Singh is also actively involved in supporting start-up and early stage business ventures in Europe and has raised over 1 billion US dollars in the last ten years towards this end. He has been involved with the GECAD Group of companies since 2003.
Adriana Suciu
General Management & Administration
Adriana Suciu has been involved with the IT industry since 2001 and with the GECAD group for the last 9 years. Prior to her taking over her current role as the CEO of GECAD Group International, she was the head of GECAD Software, a company providing professional services to the group.
Adriana has also supported the M&A activities of the group and was closely involved with the RAV Antivirus and GECAD ePayment International exits. She also manages the administration of the investments and is responsible for liaising with the portfolio companies and with consultants.
Adriana has a Masters in Business Administration from 'The Open University Business School UK'.
Iuliana Butuc-Cerchez
Corporate Communications
Iuliana is an experienced PR & Corporate Communications professional, specializing in the information technology industry. She has been with the GECAD Group for 7 years, in which she has supported achievement of business goals with key public relations and corporate communication programs. Iuliana is also accomplished in crisis management and corporate affairs.
Her 12 year experience in the IT industry also helps the group in identifying investment and business development opportunities.
